EXCLUSIVE: Ameesha Patel recalls onlookers screaming at Bobby Deol for hugging her in Humraaz; reveals them saying, “Yeh Sunny Deol ki amanat hai”

Recently Ameesha Patel sat down for a lengthy chat with Bollywood Bubble and shared insights from her personal and professional life.

Ameesha Patel recalls BTS scene with Bobby Deol during Humraaz shoot

While sharing anecdotes from the sets of Humraaz(2002), Ameesha Patel discussed how fans got violent towards Bobby Deol. She said, “When I was shooting for the climax of Humraaz, we were in Jaipur at the fort. So part of the fort had been cordoned off because there were many onlookers and random people wanting to view the shooting. The public had just completely come in to see Bobby, me, and Akshaye.”

The actress shared a memorable moment from the climax scene, where her co-star threw away the gun and hugged her. She recalled how the audience reacted passionately, shouting, “What are you doing? Ye toh teri Bhai ki amaanat hai, wo uske liye pump ukhad ke laaya hai Pakistan se.” She and Bobby were momentarily frozen. She appreciated how seriously the audience took Sunny Deol and her characters, Tara and Sakina from Gadar. Ameesha states, “Beautiful, they took Tara and Sakina so seriously and took them home. And it’s the reason a part two comes, and they take them home again. So, it’s beautiful, in real life, the audience wants to merge your real life together. They fall in love with you, you fall in love with chemistry, so it’s amazing.”
